How to Close CrunchBang’s Stuck Calendar

I do most of my writing on an old, sturdy laptop running CrunchBang Linux. It’s a wonderful operating system. However, one thing that bugs me is that sometimes the calendar gets stuck. I click on the clock to open it and can’t get it to close.

If you’ve had the same problem, here’s a solution. Open your terminal emulator and type:

pkill gsimplecal
